Upon booking a move with us over in person, over the phone, or online, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
We require you to make payment by cash, cheque, credit-card, e-transfer, paypal, or online through our website by clicking “Make Payment” upon completion of our services and delivery of an invoice.
You must provide us with at least 48 hours notice to change or cancel a move. If you fail to do so, you will be required to pay the minimum 3 hours of service charge. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to service your move if it requires changes.
Our estimates are based on the amount of time required to complete a service. If unforeseen circumstances such as extra items, unpreparedness by the customer, elevator issues, waiting on keys, traffic, or any other circumstances beyond our control extend the actual amount of hours required to complete the job, you may be required to pay more than the estimated cost.
We agree to work for the amount of service hours you’ve booked. We have the right to refuse work extending past the amount of service hours you’ve booked. In some circumstances, depending upon our availability, we may be able to provide extra service hours at the rate you agreed to upon booking the move.
We have the right to refuse moving extra heavy items, pianos, hot tubs, arcade machines, vending machines, safes, items through tight spaces where damage is inevitable, items that require hoisting off a balcony, anything unsafe, or anything that can cause damage to us, your furniture, or your property.
We will not move or handle living things, plants, animals, people, hazardous materials, explosives, fireworks, ammunition, weapons, anything flammable, paint, varnish, paint thinner, corrosives, gasoline, kerosene, oil, lighter fluid, propane tanks, heavy-duty cleaning fluids and chemicals, batteries, nail polish, nail polish remover, pressurized containers, aerosol cans, fire extinguishers, oxygen tanks, anything unsanitary, or dangerous.
We will not disconnect or connect gas lines, water lines, electrical lines, cut down trees or branches, tamper with anything fastened to a wall, fasten anything to a wall, install curtains, set up electronics, or perform any task we are not properly trained and qualified for.
We will not be held liable for any amount exceeding $0.60 per pound per item. For example, if a dresser weighing 100lbs is damaged beyond repair, we owe you $60.
We will not be held liable for any damage to walls, floors, house, apartment, property, driveway, yard, or any other property outside of the contents being moved.
